so, i don't celebrate christmas, but as for you guys that celebrate it -- i hope you guys are having a great time. :] today was reallllly boring, though! haha. mostly because like 98% of my friends celebrate christmas so they are all busy spending time with their families and friends so i am basically stuck at home, hanging around the house, doing nothing. i don't mind, though, haha. i am pretty much used to it. but the family and i will be going to my stepfather's parents' house to open the christmas gifts since they celebrate it. honestly, i am not looking foward to that since they don't know me very well so they'd most likely get me some lame stuff. but i do appreciate the gifts -- it's the thought that counts. :]

soo, in the last post, i talked about the blizzard that left us with 27 inches of snow. so my mother and i decided to take my little sister out to play in the snow. it was her first time where she actually understood what snow is and played with it. it was so cute. her entire face lightened up and she got so excited. :] i took pictures of her and it was so adorable. i can't wait to do it again next year as she would be 3 at the time. i like to watch her progress. it's really amazing.

oh, i did some browsing on xanga and i went across on this. it's such a cute post. it talks about the top five romantic kisses the author would love to experience. mine is the exactly same. [the first kiss, the kiss in the rain, the kiss under the mistletoe, the new years eve kiss, and the wedding day kiss.] i only experienced the first one. it was pretty cute. it was with my first boyfriend. it was the first time we hung out while we were dating -- we were going to six flags, the one in new jersey. we were in the backseat of my best guy friend's dad's truck. we were picking up another friend so the dad and the friend got out of the truck to meet him at his house. so he and i stayed in the truck, waiting for them to come back. then he was like, "can we kiss?" and i was like, "kaay." then we kissed. it seemed silly considering we aren't like twelve, haha. but it was cute. i cant wait to experience other four romantic kisses. :] what kind of kisses you guys experienced?

i'm kristina. fifteen. hamptons, long island, new york. :)

on friday night, i saw the weather forecast, saying we'd have 6 to 12 inches of snow by the time the weekend's over. i was like, woah that's a lot. since we barely get snow. if  we do, it's never a lot. only up to four inches. on saturday, i was supposed to go iceskating in the west of long island with my longtime friend from my old school. but the night before, she texted me saying she couldn't go. so... i didn't neither. i was also supposed to go to see a movie with a guy later the day. but as it got closer, it was still snowing badly. so i had to cancel that too.

today, i woke up exactly at noon. i walked into the living room and opened the curtains to look out the window. the whole area was covered in a blanket of snow. then i checked the television. what a perfect timing. the channel it was on was broadcasting news. the anchors were exclaiming how much snow we got. "twenty-seven inches in the southampton area..." i live close enough. so basically, we got 27 inches of snow around here. the first blizzard in long island since '95. and the fourth one since 1880s.

then i helped my stepfather shovel the backyard so my dog, a toy poodle, would have room to relieve himself, haha. we didn't realize the blanket of snow was very very thick. it was higher than my sister's height. my sister's two years old and she's pretty tall for her age. we took photos of my sister's face lightening up at the sight of snow. she started clamoring and pointing at the snow. she was grinning the whole time. it was nice to see a child to discover snow and the whole concept for the first time.

i just found out school's going to be closed tomorrow. that made me very happy. i danced around in my room, whooping. that means i'd have to go back to school on tuesday AKA the last day before winter break. how sweet is that? time to make plans with my friends for the break. hmm. :) whatcha guys doing for the break?
